Tarpon Springs has a character no other market in the county shares, and that character is a substantial part of the value of a listing here. The historic downtown, the Greek community, the sponge docks and the working waterfront on the Anclote River give the town a genuine identity, and buyers are frequently choosing it for exactly that reason.

The housing runs older and more varied than most of Pinellas.
