What aerial photography adds to a listing
On a suburban listing, the aerial is what proves the lot. A conservation or pond backing is worth real money over an interior lot, and from the patio it just reads as trees. From the air, the buyer can see the depth of the buffer and that nothing will be built behind it.
On acreage in Lutz, Odessa or Lithia, the aerial is usually the most important frame in the whole set. Five acres of oak and pine is invisible from the ground, where every wide shot ends at a tree line a hundred feet away. From above, the parcel reads whole: the cleared land, the drive, the fence lines, the barn, and how much of it is genuinely usable.
Aerials for waterfront listings
Waterfront is where drone work earns its money. A buyer paying the waterfront premium wants to know three things before anything else: how deep the canal is, whether there is a fixed bridge in the way, and how long the run is to open water. A tight photograph of a dock answers none of them.
So waterfront listings in Apollo Beach, Treasure Island and Hernando Beach get flown deliberately: one frame following the canal out toward the bay so the access route is legible, one low over the dock so the lift and the seawall read clearly, and one placing the house in its wider setting.
Licensing and airspace around Tampa
Commercial drone work requires an FAA Part 107 certificate, and a great deal of Tampa Bay sits under controlled airspace. Listings near Tampa International, Albert Whitted in downtown St. Petersburg, Clearwater Air Park and St. Pete-Clearwater International all need authorization arranged before the shoot rather than on the day.
We handle that as part of the booking. It matters practically as well as legally: an unlicensed operator who cannot get authorization simply does not fly, and you find out on the morning of the shoot. Aerials pair naturally with cinematic video and with vacant land coverage.

Are your drone pilots licensed?
Yes. All aerial work is flown under an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate and is fully insured. Commercial drone photography without that certificate is illegal, and listing photos are commercial use, so it applies to every real estate shoot.
Can you fly a drone near Tampa International Airport?
Yes, with authorization. Much of Tampa Bay sits inside controlled airspace, and we request FAA authorization through LAANC before the shoot. It needs arranging in advance, so tell us the address when you book rather than on the day.
How much does drone photography cost for a listing?
Aerial photography starts at $120 when added to a shoot, which covers five or more finished aerial stills. Drone coverage is also included in the Gold, Socials and Platinum packages on the pricing page.
Can you fly in bad weather?
No. Drones cannot fly safely in rain or high wind, which in Tampa Bay mostly means the summer afternoon storm pattern. Aerial work is scheduled in the morning from June through September, and if weather closes in we rebook the aerial portion at no extra cost.
