Tampa is not one housing market, it is about six of them stacked inside one city limit, and a listing shoot that ignores that difference is the reason so many Tampa galleries look flat. South Tampa is 1920s bungalows and new infill builds sitting shoulder to shoulder on narrow lots, which means exteriors have to be shot tight and straight or the neighbor's roofline ends up in your hero image. Hyde Park has mature oak canopy over almost every street, so the light is dappled and moves fast, and the window for a clean front elevation is genuinely about forty minutes. Seminole Heights runs the other way: smaller craftsman homes, wide-open lots, very little shade, and midday sun that will blow out a white porch ceiling if you shoot it on a single exposure.
Downtown and Channelside are condo towers, which is a different job again. You are working with tight interiors, a lot of glass, and a view that is the actual selling point, so the interior exposure has to be blended against the window or you lose the thing the buyer is paying for. Westshore and Bayshore listings tend to be higher price point and expect twilight coverage as standard.
The practical Tampa constraints matter too. Flood zone and elevation affect what a buyer wants to see, for a lot of listings east of Bayshore the elevation certificate story is part of the sale, and aerials that show grade and drainage do real work. Afternoon storms roll in most of the summer, which is why Tampa shoots get scheduled early and why we hold a same-week backup slot from June through September rather than promising a window we cannot control.
We shoot listings from Davis Islands and Harbour Island out through Ybor, Seminole Heights, Tampa Heights, Riverside Heights, Palma Ceia, Beach Park and Virginia Park, plus the newer builds going up around Midtown and Water Street.
If your listing is near the Riverwalk, Armature Works, Hyde Park Village or Bayshore Boulevard, say so when you book, those are strong location signals for buyers and worth an extra aerial or two that put the property in context rather than just showing the roof.

Tampa questions
How early do you shoot in Tampa during summer?
From June through September we schedule Tampa exteriors before 11am wherever possible. Afternoon storms are close to daily and they cost you the sky, not just the light. We hold a same-week backup slot on every summer booking so a washed-out shoot does not push your listing date.
Can you fly a drone over my Tampa listing?
In most of the city, yes. Parts of Tampa sit inside the controlled airspace around Tampa International and Peter O. Knight, which needs LAANC authorization before the flight. We check the address when you book and tell you straight away if aerials are restricted, rather than finding out on site.
Do you shoot condos downtown and in Channelside?
Regularly. Tower units are shot with the interior exposure blended against the window so the skyline or water view is actually visible rather than blown out. Tell us the floor and which direction the unit faces and we will time the shoot for the better light.
